Although
I am a medicine man, yet most of my hobbies revolve around music. Since early childhood, I have been involved in music in
one way or another. From private family occasions to performing in school, this passion for music kept growing.
My
first real boost in singing came in 1979, when I was in grade two. The late president of Pakistan, General Muhammad Zia ul
Haq was the chief guest at our annual Parents' Day at school, where I had to sing a song. When I was through with it, I headed
back to the students' enclosure when I heard someone call out my name. When I turned around, I saw Mr. President almost running
towards me. He approached me and gave me a hug, Kissed me on the cheek and said,"Where did you learn to sing like that, son?"
Then, he carried me in his arms to his seat and I watched the rest of the show sitting in his lap. This was the biggest moment
of my life. I was a celebrity at school and the talk of the town. And I never looked back after that great moment. From school
performances, I graduated to public performances and concerts.

In
1988, with the help of my friends who were also good musicians, I co-founded a musical group called "Sensations From Wah",
which won national acclaim. Unfortunately, in 1994, the band broke up due to my educational obligations.
The boys
decided to re-group in 1996, this time with a new name,"Gravity", and have been playing together eversince, althuogh on a
lower profile. In the band, I enjoy the position on the lead singer and bass guitarist.
